Message	The key here is to make sure they understand how things are at the very, very beginning. That way at least they can't claim they didn't know. Mike Hardcore, the alpha wolf over at [ http://www.squidlys.com ] (a motorcycle site), takes his girlfriends out into the garage the first time they come home with him. He gestures to his four (!) bikes, and says, "I'm going to tell you something very important now. These bikes, they were here before you came along. And in all likelyhood, they'll probably be here long after you're gone. Alright?"
